Ulster Museum
Belfast's original museum was housed in a modest building in the city centre, and the collection was moved here to the classical Portland stone building in the 1920s. The building was dramatically extended in 1970 by Francis Pym, and the entrance is now from the Botanic Gardens through that extension.
